Since the 1950s, several generations have been blessed and nurtured through the children and youth ministries of SIM (The Mission) in Khartoum, Sudan. A sense of spiritual connection developed amongst many who were blessed through these ministries.

The dispersion over the years of most, if not all, of those who benefitted spiritually from those ministries has resulted in many being now located in other parts of the world. Some are missing the friendship, the spiritual fellowship, the sense of spiritual connection, and the sense of mutual encouragement experienced in Jesus while we were present in the Sudan.

Sensing a longing for a revival of that sense of spiritual fellowship and connection amongst us, and sensing a burden and the leading of the Spirit of God, we the undersigned, have agreed to undertake an effort to revitalize the fellowship and sense of spiritual connectedness in the form of a network we have chosen to name Mission Generations.

Mission Generations is not meant to be an organization, a ministry, a denomination, or a funding agency, nor is it meant to promote any organization, ministry, denomination, or funding agency.

The sole purpose of Mission Generations is to develop a Network to foster ways to revitalize and spiritually reunite the generations of those who desire to renew the sense of spiritual unity and fellowship experienced when we were together in the Sudan, and to foster ways for mutual encouragement of each other as we walk our journeys with our Lord Jesus Christ.
